Vojeurs

Mario Amura
Paris 2014

Along the banks of the Seine, on a sunny day, two lovers lie by the river, gently caressing each other's feet. Nearby, a couple seated on a bench watches the scene, shielding their eyes from the sunlight.
Intimacy becomes a public spectacle in a subtle interplay of gazes and irony. But who are the real voyeurs? The couple on the bench, the photographer, or those looking at the image?
